I stayed here three nights while visiting Bhaktapur and escaping the crazyness of Thamel ... and I really liked this place. The guesthouse is located very close to the pottery square and it takes just a couple of minutes walk to reach Nyatapola Square or the Durbar Square from here.

The rooms are in a traditional Newar house with a little woodcarving shop on the ground floor. I liked my room, it was so cozy the way it was furnished and everything was clean and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable and I felt well rested every morning.

All the rooms have toilet and shower inside. There's a small dining area on the top floor with books and a roof terrace that gets a lot of sunshine in the morning. Good place to meet other guests and to enjoy the delicious complimentary breakfast.

The place is officially a guesthouse but almost feels like a home stay because of the way gets are treated here. When I arrived I was greeted by the owner who showed me around the place and we had a cup of nice Nepali Tea on the roof terrace. She was happy to help me with any questions I had about Bhaktapur, where to find the local bus to Nagarkot and where to buy the delicious local yogurt/curd - "juju dao?" (You can buy a pot from the shop opposite)

I'll come back here for sure the next time I'm in Nepal!

After my Annapurna trekking ventures, I wanted home comforts and ideal location for one day site seeing trips. Manika, Deepa and family made me feel at home and provided all the information and tips I needed. Also breakfast and dinner. Rooms are basic but clean with hot shower and western loos. Perfect after the Tea house facilities??? They now have additional new guest house with modern facilities. Location of both is central so only minutes from tourist and historic sites. Definitely revisiting.

I stayed one day in this lovely guesthouse. The rooms were big clean and mine also had an balcony. The family was kind and very nice and they make a great dal bhat. I would defenetly recommend a stay here to visit the ancient city of bhaktapur.

I felt like very welcome, enjoying the fast wifi and huge brekkie on the rooftop. The place was very clean and the family who runs it really caring. For just $10 a real bargain. All four squares (major sights) are few minutes walking distance.
